Project overview.
The interior design of Daze · Akaretler is by Serdar Akbulut.
DAZE Akaretler was designed to offer a contemporary restaurant and bar experience while preserving the historic building’s architectural character. Brick surfaces, classical wall mouldings and ornamental ceiling details are combined with dark veined marble, timber and velvet textures to establish a layered dialogue between past and present. Accentuated by lighting, the bar defines the social heart of the interior, while mirrored surfaces enhance spatial depth and visual continuity. Warm illumination, restrained colour accents and artworks complete a design that brings gastronomy, mixology and music into conversation with Akaretler’s historic identity, creating an intimate yet dynamic atmosphere.
Restaurant and bar interiors
DAZE Akaretler reads the character of a historic building alongside a contemporary dining environment. Brick, mouldings and ceiling details are layered with marble, timber and velvet. The bar acts as a social focus, while mirrors and lighting contribute to spatial depth and the venue’s changing atmosphere.
