VITRUVIUS.ARCHITECTURE / SERDAR AKBULUTFounded by architect Serdar Akbulut in 2008, Vitruvius Architecture develops projects from its studio in Gümüşsuyu, Beyoğlu. The practice brings architectural concepts, interior design and project detailing together across residential, workplace, hospitality and cultural programmes.
The portfolio includes commissions in Istanbul and other parts of Türkiye, as well as work in Italy, Switzerland, Ghana and Uzbekistan. The services below connect each design field with its actual projects, scope and architectural approach.
A coffee shop’s identity extends beyond its service counter. Seating, material textures, changing daylight and its relationship with the street are considered together. Vitruvius Architecture approaches coffee, work and conversation as parts of a coherent spatial experience.
