Can interior design be commissioned on its own?
R.K. Residence and Dragos Residence are listed as interior design projects. An existing apartment or home can be considered as a distinct interior commission.
ISTANBUL / ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS
Residential interior design
Residential interior design turns an existing space into an individual way of living. Room relationships, material continuity, furniture scale and light are considered together. Each home develops its own language in response to its occupants and spatial character.
R.K. Residence in Isplandit Apartment Building, Nişantaşı, and Dragos Residence represent interior commissions in Istanbul. Altınova Villa and Yalova H&K Villa combine architecture and interiors; the Residential Interiors collection brings together examples from different homes and periods.
Design scope
- Apartment and villa interiors
- Living space layouts
- Materials, furniture and lighting
- Interiors integrated with architecture
Starting your project
The existing plan, daily routines and areas to be reconsidered establish the brief. Layout alternatives and relationships between materials and furniture shape the design. Visualisation and detailed documentation are developed within the agreed scope.
